transpromo.net we finally go live
After pondering the big question 'do we go live?' our Creative Director / Senior Administrator, Dean Osborne, decided to take the plunge and put transpromo.net online. "The decision was largely made due to getting the site indexed by Google, Yahoo, MSN and the like" said Osborne, 31, "The Transpromo Network's marketing strategy depends on excellent search engine results which, as we all know, do not happen over night. There are still a few minor issues that need to be ironed out, but generally the site is in good working order, and we're starting to solve some of the early teething problems." "We have already appeared in Google's listings, but we are currently not satisfied with our position. For our future 'Directory Members ' a good result in the search engine listings is vital. Although, technically, we can start to take paying Directory Members and advertisers, due to our current position, we don't forsee this happening for a number of months yet." Osborne, who through his own company 'studio:TEN' has worked as Creative Director on other leading Transpromo websites, including Google top spots, www.transpromo.co.uk, and UK based Datagraphic Ltd, has stated that he won't be satisfied unless his third Transpromo project is in the top three. "Of course, we've (studio:TEN) already had success with transpromo.co.uk, and the relevant Transpromo pages for Datagraphic Ltd , who are really pushing the development of Transpromo in the UK. But what we're trying to achieve with the Transpromo Network, is a portal for all the print industry to use, and the ability for paid Directory Members to advertise thier services and report thier own Transpromo news. We're trying to encourage all business', large or small, to get thier slice of the Transpromo pie."
